The team behind the Janus project has 50 years of combined industry experience. We have worked on enterprise projects for large multinationals and have worked for small and medium sized businesses. The Janus project is about creating platforms which target carefully selected markets and leverage the social fabric of the internet to attract audiences and capture market share, resulting in a business which can deliver substantial profits to it's investors.

In order to prepare for the implementation of our ideas, we have developed a technology platform based on a well known micro-framework which we will use as a base for our development activities. By leveraging an existing micro-framework, we will build our software on a modern, continuously developed platform which is designed for security, flexibility and high performance which will allow us to focus on implementing our projects and not have to spend resources on basic infrastructure code. For some projects (such as real-estate and eCommerce) we already have functional modules to which we own the copyright and which are currently implemented on live customer sites.

We believe that combining financial technology and investment topics under a social platform can create a platform which will have the potential to attract a substantial user community and provide substantial monetization options. We have some ideas for this area with the goal of bringing experienced and novice traders together in order to enable everybody to benefit from the knowledge a distributed community without access barriers can provide.

In addition to the social aspect, we believe that we literally have an idea which could be the proverbial “killer app” for social fintech which could open api-driven forex and stock trading to the broad public and radically lower barriers of entry for this industry. We believe that our ideas can create something truly new in this space and are excited to implement them.

Financial services centered around bitcoin and altcoin transactions

We have a number of ideas of financial services centered around the bitcoin and altcoin world.

Social applications of bitcoin and altcoins

We believe that combining Web2.0 applications with bitcoin and/or altcoins can create an exciting and enticing combination.

Content management for targeted markets and new technologies

We believe that there are many opportunities for building a software business based on content management systems which are targeted at specific use cases. By tailoring a content management system to a specific use case, the system can integrate knowledge about its use case and thus be tailored to provide superior workflow, ease of use, and user satisfaction. We have some specific ideas for improving the offerings in this area and believe that a substantial business can be built around these. For now we have identified the following markets to target:

• eCommerce
• Automotive
• BigData

Similar to what AirBnB brought to the market for property rentals, we believe that markets such as real-estate, automotive, etc. are suitable candidates to be targeted by such peer to peer initiatives which, if successful, could provide massive returns on investment.

Online and self publishing

While we really like Medium.com, we believe that Medium’s strength is also a weakness, and that we can use a similar, but more focussed approach to launch a successful platform. We will tap into a large market which is not well served by current offerings.

Marketplaces for targeted audiences

As an extension of the previous point, we believe that there are growing and dynamic markets which offer a large profit potential that are currently not well served; developing targeted content management systems and extending them for specific use cases will allow us to launch consumer facing offerings in these markets which carries with it a substantial profit potential.

Marketplaces for digital assets

The distribution and ownership of digital assets are and will remain a growth market for the foreseeable future. As such, we have developed some ideas to expand into this market with technology which currently is not utilized by markets such as MMO/CSGO trading platforms, digital game licenses and other related digital assets. We believe that our ideas should be well received and result in us capturing significant market share in this space.

Algorithmic trading (Forex)

We have been working on a number of Forex signal generators and trading bots for the past six months in order to develop a library of algorithmic trading tools. Due to the nature of the forex market, we will not commit a substantial amount of funds to our trading account and only deploy our bots on a live account after extensive testing. If our trading bots work, simply letting them run over time will allow us to generate returns which may exceed profits earned by the remainder of our business ventures.

Profit sharing

Dividends are paid via the proven Nxt AE dividend system which automatically distributes the dividends to accounts that hold Janus at the time of the payment. Investors who transfer their tokens to centralized exchanges to make profit day trading must make sure to send their Janus (JNS) tokens back into their OWN Nxt account before the time of each dividend distribution. Otherwise, the exchange will receive the dividends, not you. Investors who hold their Janus in their Nxt account at all times to just earn a passive income does not have to worry about this, they will receive all dividends.

BetterBets.io

Our first to all Janus holders is the sharing of Betterbets.io NXT income which is distributed monthly, around the 1st of each month.

We make this [payment] monthly because betting variance tends to change month to month. One month it could be outstanding revenue and several hundred thousand NXT then the next month 0. So it's better to have the monthly for this business. 90% NXT betting profit is paid to Janus token holders.

Future revenue

We are actively in development of the sites described in our whitepaper.

The social fintech site has a monthly subscription based income model, it's possible after we evaluate this will be monthly. The realty software site will more than likely be quarterly or bi-yearly. The educational site could be yearly, it will become a very large mix of both sources and timing.

As for the % distribution of profit from mainstream sites, because our original ICO did not hit goals, we don't have exact numbers but I wish to make sure ROI with Janus from dividends become simple. Some may have missed it, but this project isn't really a project, it's the life work for at least 2 of my team, Lobos and I. It's our end goal, retirement. Create empire, then grow empire, then future generations take over. The token partakes in this and will just evolve as needed to stay current. If we reach the end goal of 10 mil USD total income per year from all sites then I could foresee an easy ROI even with Janus many times higher than the current price.

We have created the JanusXT token to allow an exclusive revenue source for Janus token holders who have a large stake in the token and our team. When a Janus investor reaches two million or more Janus tokens they will be sent one JanusXT token. The token entitles investors to 40% of https://betterbets.io casino income starting March 2018.

Revenue will be paid on the 1st of each month for the entire life of the site. In the event of a business sale, JanusXT holders are entitled to 40% of the proceeds from this sale. The 40% of Betterbets.io income earned comes from Bitcoin wagered volume, this means that as players wager their volume determines the amount of income the site does monthly. It is not based on wins or losses from players. The income is calculated as such:

●  Bitcoin amount wagered* 0.5%= site profit

●  Example: 5000 BTC monthly wagered:
5000 BTC volume*0.5% = Betterbets.io earns 25 BTC

●  JanusXT investors would earn: 10 BTC in monthly revenue dividend using this example.

Janus token holders will also be receiving the dividends from NXT monthly betting gains in conjunction with JanusXT, so it will be like double dipping. From BetterBets.io we are giving 90% of all NXT house income back to Janus holders, JanusEX holders will earn that plus 40% of Bitcoin income, that starts March 2018 and we'll add more to XT in time as well.

Janus tokens in future dispersions of revenue

In 2017 the NXT platform developers will launch the Ardor testnet and then mainnet. When this occurs the creation of the first Ardor child chain, aptly named ‘Ignis’ will also be created. All NXT users who hold a balance will receive Ignis based on the easy calculation of 1 NXT= 0.5 Ignis tokens.

JanusXT holders have placed faith in the Janus project to a degree we feel entitles them to some of the Ignis we receive at this time. Due to the structure of our JNS token distribution, it is impossible to predict an exact number of Ignis we will receive at the time the snapshot occurs. Therefore, our team will take 20% of all Ignis we earn and equally divide this new and exciting Ignis token among them.

As our business sites launch, more revenue from them will be added to the JanusXT profit-sharing dividends. Our team will be using multiple methods to customize this ROI plan specifically.

If an account possessing the two million Janus token requirement falls below the required amount they will be disqualified from that month of site dividends from Bitcoin betting volume. They can, however, be eligible when their account exceeds two million Janus tokens in future dispersions of revenue.

In time as the Nxt Platform evolves into Ardor we will evolve the token/currency with it.
