Welcome, dear Nxters and other followers!
And a good Friday to you, sorry for the delay this week - here's finally your newsletter! Or, it really isn't a real "newsletter" is it? More like a massive attack of updates from all over, a weekly monster-post, because Ardor has winds in the sails.
A press release from Jelurida this week sprayed the name of their BaaS solutions right into the face of blockchain peoples and businesses across the red sea of crypto, globally this time, and of course, made possible by a lot of well-done work over many years. The Ardor Hackathon challenges were announced, along with a new Ardor Learning Hub, and Slack already sees many new names in the Developer Channel. Join.
Nxters are taking action creating puzzles, Google Chrome extensions, distributing ROCKS, Travin pitched an Ardor blood and organ registration blockchain at the Open Source Summit, Jelurida rubbed shoulders with XendBit at the African BlockchainNG meetup, Dominium sells DOM and expands in China, and here at Nxter Magazine we're optimizing the mag while keeping you in the loop with Ignis, Nxt and Ardor, and yes - there's more of that, read on.
Nxters, thanks again for letting us take you through another week that was;

Every week a puzzle is released for your pleasure. Inside the puzzles lie an IGNIS reward, that the first person to solve the puzzle can lay hands on. Seek Thou Must, to find the hidden passphrase, then withdraw the IGNIS in the account it opens.
Normal is an illusion...
What is normal for the spider, is chaos for the fly.

Travin @ Open Source Summit
How do blood and organs fit into a conversation about blockchain? Travin pitched an amazing prototype this week
Travin Keith, managing director of Altrean, and member of the Linux and HyperLedger Foundation pitched a European-wide organ and blood blockchain database this week at the Linux Foundation's Open Source Summit 2018. The idea is to create a secure distributed database maintained by EU member states, built on Ardor and Hyperledger Iroha, accessible for all involved parties but without EU member states signing off the control of their data or the management of the network to the European Union.
The benefits of such a setup include: hospitals and other healthcare institutions can see (permitted) exposed data, such as blood and organs available, full supply chain tracking for more accountability, and identities of blood and organ donors remain secure. Hyperledger Iroha primarily handles the identity management of each patient, and Ardor primarily handles the logistics around the transfer of blood and organs. "Part of the need for having two blockchain systems for this architecture is to further protect the privacy of each patient, as well as to allow the logistics chain to remain unaffected if ever the identity chain needs to have information completely removed".
Travin's presentation follows up on the "Bloodchain" project prototype, created for the European Commission, an integrated blood collection supply and demand management system to help address the shortage of voluntary blood and organ donations. Learn more here.

Forge For Charity
A new forging pool wants to donate its earnings to charity. Anyone can lease their ARDR balances risk-free to this pool
Community member Cryptosolar, saw an opportunity in the Dominium ICO, and no, it wasn't anything like getting himself a Lambo. On the Dominium website, you can donate DOM tokens to charities like Oceana, Amnesty, Doctors Without Borders, CARE, Greenpeace and more - simply by "liking" them, when you are logged in to your Dashboard, you send 50 cents worth of DOM tokens to their organization. The idea is to use all ARDR the pool forges to buy DOM, and then donate it all.

ROCK That s**t, Homie!
Ardor rocks - so you can get ROCKS on Ardor.
Confused? Users of the ardor.rocks social website are now getting crypto assets for participation on its community forum
On September 24th, the Wiremaster announced the ROCKS asset, a tokenization of the points that users of his ardor.rocks website get awarded for using the site. And then, on October 1st, he created it.
He wrote:
Please be aware that assets will not be transferred for every point you collect. It will happen at regular check cycles and when users have reached chunks of 100 points (at the moment, could change in the future). So once you have more than 100 points you’ll get your first payment (...), then you’ll get the next payment once you reach more than 200 points, and so on…
This is still very experimental, so the amount of points assigned for each task and the way the payments are done might change in the future.
So, where will it get its value from? Ideas are being discussed on the ardor.rocks forum, the Leaderboard (and the Ignis block explorer) shows the top contributors. Read along, and why not join the brainstorm - you'll even get ROCKS for it, y'know 😉
The ROCKS Asset ID is 8980081323442307, it's created by account ARDOR-RQCK-SFQ8-4PAX-FLTZX.

You receive 25 DOM tokens worth €5 whenever anyone signs up with your referral link. There is also a 5%-10% referral commission paid out in BTC or ETH. So sign up and start earning.
About Dominium
"Through the creation of a new child chain, Dominium will utilize Ardor to establish a fully transparent blockchain based real estate platform. Dominium chose Ardor over Ethereum after extensive research and evaluation of both platforms. “Having closely followed several blockchain technologies from conception, including Ethereum, we strongly feel that Ardor is the platform with the best features for our business, especially the controlled trading of assets” says Joost de Kruiff, a Dominium Blockchain Advisor. The child chain is expected to be operational in over 120 countries by the end of 2018".
Dominium will not only become a marketplace for property sales and rentals, but will also register property management activities, thus creating a fully transparent historical chain of information, serving tenants, buyers and investors alike. Dominium will also allow third party fund creators to set up property funds with standardised documentation, under an umbrella licence.
