By using our site, you consent to our privacy policy. Please also review our Terms of Service that governs the use and the users of the Site.

If you notice we missed any crucial information you need, please contact us.

Who we are

We are NXTERs, Nxt and Ardor community-based users and maintainers of the Nxter.org website, makers of the NxtBridge WordPress plugin, the SIGBRO wallet and SIGBRO plugins, the Nxter blockchain explorer and transaction broadcasting service, the SIGBRO Offline client and mobile transaction signing app, writers and publishers of updates, articles, blog posts, analysis, the Nxter Newsletter, creators of contests, translators and researchers. We come from many countries, reside in many countries, we share the common goal of making life easier and better for mankind.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Visitors:

Like most website operators, Nxter.org collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Nxter.org’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Nxter.org’s visitors use our website.

Certain visitors to Nxter.org’s websites choose to interact with Nxter.org in ways that require Nxter.org to gather personally-identifying information. Visitors can always choose not to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities. The amount and type of information that Nxter.org gathers depend on the nature of the interaction.

Comments

When you leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to save your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. Due to GDPR’s consent requirement, Nxter has added a comment consent checkbox. You can leave a comment without checking this box. All it would mean is that you would have to manually enter your name, email, and website every time you leave a comment.

Here are the services we use to make our own service better for you:

  • Mailchimp – we store our client contact details for newsletters, announcements, and usability testing invite purposes. They can opt-out of these at any time.

  • Our System administrator

All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

How we protect your data and what data breach procedures we have in place

We protect customer data with the following site features:

  • We are entirely using SSL/HTTPS throughout all our sites. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so personal identifiable information is never captured by third parties without authorization.
  • Databases are sanitized (actual user personal details are removed) before deploying to 3rd party development or testing environment.
  • In case of a data breach, System administrators will immediately go through affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed after informing the user.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on nxter.org or have left comments, or bought from our shop, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.

You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
